liberatory therapy for people of color

individual and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy

About Me

I am a first-generation Indian American queer cis-woman. I am a feminist abolitionist and was born and raised in the Bay Area.

I am coming into my work as a therapist after decades of working closely with incarcerated people and their families. Issues related to systemic oppression, ethical accountability,  and collective liberation are central to my work.

My clients describe me as grounded, curious, and warm. I enjoy deep, collaborative, relational work that acknowledges systemic impacts and cultural contexts.

About You:

I especially enjoy working with:

  • queer women of color

  • covid-conscious people

  • people with chronic illness and/or disabilities

  • people experiencing depression, anxiety, and grief

  • incarcerated people, people on parole, and their loved ones

  • people preparing for and/or integrating non-ordinary states of consciousness

  • organizers, activists, and healing practitioners

  • I approach healing work as a liberatory practice. I believe that our relationships have healing potential. I believe it is our duty to do this deep healing work for ourselves, our communities, and our family lines so we can lean evermore towards freedom.

I deeply value freedom, joy, and a sense of belonging. I believe healing work is a continuum and we do not reach a fixed place of “healed” in an unhealed world. I prefer to do long-term depth oriented work. In my role as your therapist, I aim to demystify the process, create a safe and wide container, and witness and support the emergence of your own inner wisdom.

  • Your first step is to get in touch with me to schedule a complimentary 20-minute consultation call.

Don’t feel obligated to go into detail via email - during our call, you’ll tell me about what kind of support you’re looking for, and I’ll give you some more information about myself and how I work.

We’ll feel out if it’s a good mutual fit and decide together how to proceed from there.

If it doesn’t work out with me, I can connect you with other therapists or clinics.
